The closing date for votes is 12:00 Friday 27th February 2026

The offer
  • Year one: A 4.6% (CPIH* + 1%) increase on salaries with effect from 1 April 2026, based on December 2025’s figure released in January 2026.
  • Year two: A CPIH* + 1% increase on salaries, based on December 2026’s figure released in January 2027. This offer has a guaranteed minimum of 3.7% with no upper limit.
  • This offer includes run through on allowances.

(*CPIH is the Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers' housing costs and best indicates the rate of inflation in UK. Company allowances are indexed to CPIH only.)

If accepted this increase in salaries would be applied in the April 2026 payroll and will be effective from 1 April 2026.

The Company has also agreed to offer the following non-pay items as part of the offer:

  • An agreement to review the BUPA private medical insurance provision within six months of April 2026.
  • A clarification and communication on the processes for ill health retirement for those members who contribute to the L&G Defined Contribution pension.

At a meeting of all four Trade Unions workplace representatives the above offer was overwhelmingly endorsed and fully recommended for acceptance.

All four Trade Unions jointly encourage all members to take part in the ballot and strongly recommend acceptance of the proposed offer.
